THE BAUMAN HOUSE
A Queen of the Southern Mines Bungalow
The Bauman House is a quintessential bungalow vacation rental located on the North end of downtown Sonora. The home was built circa 1910 by George & Mary Bauman, with the property originally belonging to Mrs. Bauman's parents, The Willestens. The Bauman's have ties to the original Sonora Brewing Company and the Sonora Hospital.
The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, enclosed patio, and plenty of places to relax outside.

This quaint house is a must-stay! Everything is decorated so thoughtfully and was perfectly cozy. I think my favorite part was how close we were to walking downtown. We walked to eat dinner both nights and had a great time. The host did a wonderful job of incorporating the local community into the decor and amenities. There were so many fun things to go see and do that we will have to plan another stay to fit it all in. I definitely recommend this house, especially if you have a couple of families or groups and need a few rooms. We will definitely be returning with friends to enjoy the backyard seating!
